Schools

The Irish Aerial Creation Centre opened in 2015, and is the national home of aerial arts in Ireland. We run public classes, University of Limerick modules, and professional opportunities for artists.

Aerial circus (or aerial dance) can be any apparatus that allows you to leave the ground and do a variety of movements. This is most commonly silks, rope, hoop, trapeze, cocoon, or in a harness.

For beginners we recommend cocoon and trapeze. We currently train over 250 children per week, and schools can participate without fitness requirements or previous experience.

We are working to find a transport partner to offer a bus at a fixed rate.

For schools we can customise a package of classes:

  • Once-off workshops
  • 4-week or 6-week blocks
  • Ongoing classes throughout the academic year
  • 60 or 90 minute duration, or custom
  • Capacity of approx. 40 students
  • Negotiable price based on quantity/duration
  • Typical price of €8 per child for Primary school
  • Typical price of €10 per child for Secondary school
