Sorcán & Circus offers creative workshops for young people aged 8–12 from the Traveller community, combining circus, movement, rap, and songwriting to encourage creativity, confidence, and collaboration.

Workshops take place:
– Directly on halting sites
– At the Irish Aerial Creation Centre (IACC) in Limerick
– Or at partner circus studios

Sessions are led by professional artists including Traveller rapper Willzee and experienced circus facilitators from Fidget Feet Aerial Dance and the IACC.

Through a mix of physical and creative activities, young participants explore:

– Circus and movement skills
– Rap, rhythm, and songwriting
– Creative expression and storytelling
– Confidence, teamwork, and trust
– Safe engagement with aerial and circus practices

The workshops create a welcoming and supportive environment where young people can develop their voice, express their ideas, and experience new forms of artistic expression.

Transport support is provided where needed to ensure access to off-site activities.
